Accessing a 3d printing course in the Wollongong area is now easier than ever. Modfab is starting a lifestyle course at WEA Illawarra which will get you up to speed with CAD modelling and 3D printing.
If you are not familiar with WEA Illawarra, they are the local community college that provides short courses and training in a variety of different subjects. You can uncover all manner of lifestyle, work related and foundation based skills courses.
Adding a 3d printing course to the WEA Illawarra offerings means the ability to enhance skills needed for work and more. Interested parties can use it to see if they enjoy 3d printing as an art form or technology as well as learn practical basics in a supportive, hands on environment.
The 3d printing course has been designed for beginners who are interested in learning the skills they need to take advantage of the versatile tool that is 3D printing. Over 3 night sessions of 3 hours each, candidates will be taught basic 3D modelling and then be trained how to take that model and bring it into the physical world with a 3D printer.
The course is the perfect start for hobbyists, makers, inventors and innovators.
The course costs just $240 and is open to any interested member of the public that would like to enrol.
